Bomb Threat forces BLHS evacuation
Students were evacuated from Basehor-Linwood High School around 11 a.m. today after a bomb threat was discovered.
Assistant Superintendent David Howard said high school administrators contacted the Basehor Police Department then implemented the district's crisis plan.
Students were bused to the Basehor Elementary School and Sixth Grade Center gymnasiums. Parents were then notified through the school's automated contacting system.
The police department gave the all clear and students were bused back to the high school around 2:05 p.m., Howard said.
The incident is still under investigation.
