— A shorthanded Lansing High wrestling team placed seventh at the Baldwin Invitational on Saturday at Baldwin High School.

Senior 152-pounder Nick Flynn and freshman 125-pounder Spencer Blew led the Lions with third-place finishes in their respective weight classes.

Also for Lansing: Junior Grant Hinckley finished fourth at 160 pounds; junior Tyler Strouhal was fourth at 215; freshman Tyler Baughman placed fifth at 145; freshman Nathan Wessel was fifth at 171; junior Wes Appleget placed seventh at 135; freshman Tyler Terron was seventh at 140; and freshman Garrett Hinckley was eighth at 119.

Oak Park (Mo.) won the team title with 419 points. It's the fourth straight year the Northmen have won the tournament. Santa Fe Trail was second with 202 and Prairie View placed third with 181. Lansing had 146 points.
