4-H’ers garden, food projects shine
July 17, 2008
Leavenworth County 4-H youths presented the best of their gardens during the 4-H Spring Garden and Food Fare. The event consists of different project contests in foods, nutrition and horticulture. Awards are presented according to the level of applied knowledge.
The results are:

¢ Senior reserve champion, 4-H flower exhibitor, Abe Buddish, Friendship Valley 4-H
¢ Junior champion, 4-H flower exhibitor, Karisa Garber, Boling 4-H
¢ Junior reserve champion, 4-H flower exhibitor, Colton Findeisen, Boling 4-H Club
¢ Senior champion, 4-H foods, Austin Wiley, Reno Bobwhites 4-H
