Police thanks

To the editor:
Words cannot express the gratitude that we received from local merchants during the Police Officer’s Memorial Week. We would like to take a minute to acknowledge them and thank them for the food, drink and flowers.
All it took was a phone call and speaking to a manager. These people took their time and prepared wonderful refreshments and decorations.
It is a wonderful thing to be a part of a city that has merchants so willing to participate without questions on a yearly event. Your service is greatly appreciated.
