BPU sponsors energy workshop

The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities will sponsor the third annual Build Green Conference from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. April 10 at the Jack Reardon Convention Center. 500 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan.
The conference will include the presentations Green @ Work!, Building "Energy Star" Housing, Easy Steps to Energy Efficiency, Kansas Wind Energy Comes to BPU, Environmentally Friendly Construction, Help for Green Design, Kansas Energy Efficiency Programs/Low-Cost Loans, and Building a Green Sustainable Future.
Vendor booths will display useful "green" products and services for homeowners and businesses.
There's a registration fee of $40, which includes continental breakfast and buffet lunch.
