David Christie, 11, at left, and Daniel Christie, 8, recently competed at the Missouri Valley Swimming Championships with the Kansas City Swim Academy. David earned first-place finishes in the 200-yard individual medley, 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle races and a second-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle. He qualified for the Missouri Valley Division I Championships and finished fourth in the 100-yard breaststroke, seventh in the 100-yard butterfly and his relay team placed first in the 200-yard IM relay and second in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
