- The Basehor Rustlers 4-H club went on a recent outing to Lawrence. Club members enrolled in the Foods and Nutrition project took a tour of Wheatfields Bakery, which uses organic flour milled in Kansas. The 4-H’ers learned the bread-making process from start to finish, including baking in the large wood-burning oven. The bakery has a large variety of breads and members got to sample quite a few.
