City of Lansing golf tournament approaches
The city of Lansing's sixth annual golf tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 6, at the Leavenworth Country Club, 455 W. Eisenhower Rd., Lansing.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The four-person scramble costs $75 per player, which includes green fees, cart, lunch and prizes. Among the prizes is a hole-in-one opportunity for each player worth $10,000. One person will also win a chance to make a putt worth $5,000 on the practice green.
The entry deadline is Tuesday, June 2. Proceeds from this event will go to the future Kansas Regional Prisons Museum in Lansing. Check should be made out to the City of Lansing and set to Lansing City Hall, 800 First Terrace, Lansing, KS 66043.
