Garage sale day

To the editor:
Saturday, June 14, has been designated as the day for Basehor City-Wide Garage Sales.
The last couple years, the Basehor Chamber of Commerce has tried to list and map the sales in the city but did not receive enough response from residents. The chamber also purchased three 4x8 banners to advertise the event; however, no one has been able to locate the banners. We have asked the banks and businesses with signs to help advertise the event and we will put an ad in the local newspapers.
Citywide participation will bring more garage sale buyers to our city.
