The times, most assuredly, are uncertain. Yet, still, there is much for which we are thankful as Thanksgiving Day 2008 draws near.
Here in the Bonner Springs, Edwardsville and Basehor areas, we all can be thankful for communities that continue to grow.
Also on the short list: We have wonderful school districts with great schools and dedicated teachers. We have caring, progressive administrations at our City Halls. We see businesses continue to be interested in locating in our area, even in this difficult economy. We have hundreds of volunteers from all walks of life sacrificing their time for the betterment of our communities. We have an active group of churches, watching out for the spiritual needs of our residents.
For all of this, we give thanks.
