KU baseball program offers winter camps

The Kansas University baseball team will conduct various skills camps this winter.

The Holiday Skills Camp will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Dec. 27-29 at Anschutz Indoor Pavilion on the KU campus. The camp is open to youths age 7-18. Cost is $195 and lunch is included.

The Pitching, Catching and Infield Academies will take place in two sessions. Session one will take place Jan. 8, 14, 22 and 29. Session two will take place Feb. 5, 12, 19 and 26. Sessions will last from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. each night at Anschutz Indoor Pavilion. Cost is $99.

The Hitting Academy will operate in three sessions. Session one will take place Jan 12, 20 and 27 at a cost of $75. Session two will take place Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24 at a cost of $99. Session three will take place March 2, 9, 23 and 30 at a cost of $99. All sessions will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hoglund Indoor Facility next to Hoglund Ballpark.

The Hitting Academy can be combined with a defensive academy session for $175.

The Sunday Night Baseball School will take place in three sessions. Session one, at a cost of $90, takes place Jan. 12, 20 and 27. Sessions two and three cost $99. Session two takes place Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24 and session three will be March 1, 8, 15 and 22. All sessions will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Anschutz Indoor Pavilion. Cost to combine sessions two and three is $120.
