Museum announces scarecrow contest winners

Lansing Historical Museum has announced the winners of the Autumn in the Grove Scarecrow Contest, staged Oct. 11 at Kelly Grove Park,

First place went to Mrs. Cioppa’s kindergarten class, which also was selected as the “People’s Choice” winner. Second place wen to Mrs. Carpenter’s third-grade class. Picking up third-place honors was Mrs. Keeling’s second-grade class. Fourth place, meanwhile, went to Mrs. Moorehead’s kindergarten class,

Gift cards were awarded to first through third place and people’s choice. Teachers will use these cards to purchase educational items for their classrooms.

The Lansing Historical Museum thanks the judges and classes for participating in the contest.
