Northern League title up for grabs

Kansas City took a lead in the first inning as it plated three runs. Jim Fasano crushed a three-run homer that also plated Aharon Eggleston and Ken Harvey.
SouthShore scored twice in the top of the second, but a solo homer by Neb Brown in the bottom of the inning gave the T-Bones a 4-2 advantage.
The RailCats got a leadoff single by Eric Blakeley in the third inning. Tanner Townsend followed with a walk. Both scored on a homer by Guerrero and SouthShore took a 5-3 lead.
Guerrero's second blast, a two-run shot in the top of the fifth, gave the RailCats their biggest lead at 7-6.
Kansas City scored twice in the bottom of the fifth on run-scoring singles by Eggleston and Rob Watson, but that was as close as the T-Bones got.
