Basehor-Linwood music programs steal show

Basehor-Linwood High School music programs competed at a regional solo and ensemble festival Saturday at Baker University. The solos and ensembles received superior ratings and qualified for the state festival April 25 in Andover.

• Thomas Pedroza, Aaron Radke, Bryce Meyn - Sax trio

• Kenzie Mitchner - violin solo

• Karah Beeves - cello solo

• Russell Clark - violin solo

• Lauren Beeves - viola solo

• Lauren Beeves, Karah Beeves, Hannah Rollwagen and Emily McDowell - S and S string quartet

• Austin Scheopflin, Garrett Kahle, Kenzie Mtichner, Brittany Laney and Russell Clark - Gold string quintet

• Caleb Johnson, Jessica Farris, Cody Smith and Alexis Tate - Green string quartet

• Kyle Robinson - vocal solo

• Kristin Taylor - vocal solo

• Bridget Davis - vocal solo
