Letter: Helping hand thanks

To the editor:
As our mayor will tell you, “Life is better in Bonner Springs!” No one knows that better than I do. Once again, a Bonner Springs business — Berning Tire — has “stepped up to the plate” to help a customer out of a bad situation.
Casey, Pat and everyone at Berning, I just want to say thank you again for going above and beyond to help someone out of a very helpless and costly situation.
I hope you have a very blessed Christmas and prosperous New Year. I have already been blessed by a small-town business that cares about their customers.

How has the recent heat advisory altered your daily activities?
“Actually, we’ve spent more time outside lately working hardcore on our backyard doing some major landscaping. Lots of water breaks helped us through it. Since being outside so much, the warm weather doesn’t phase me anymore.”
