New Year’s resolutions
Did you keep all the resolutions you made a year ago? Do you even remember what resolutions you made a year ago?
We have a brand New Year ahead of us, so now is the time to think about whatever changes we want to make in our lives. Whatever our age, we still have a desire to try to better our situation, or focus on learning something new.
There are many programs to help us create new skills. I recently read about “Quantum Jumping.” This is the ability to focus one’s mind in a way of picking up new skills at will by visualizing. Your mind is a powerful thing and it is possible to improve your health, wealth and emotional well being by visualization. This is probably something we have done all our lives but now it has a name. This is pretty heavy stuff, but if you are interested at all, just go to Google on your computer and type in “Quantum Jumping” and look around.
Many people my age do not want to have anything to do with a computer, and I think they are missing out on so much. It is a constant learning experience and keeps the brain active, even though it can drive you crazy at times. Ada and I go to a Senior Computer Class every Wednesday. We are there to help anyone who has questions. We have done this for so long that it is for us as much of a social as well as a learning time. I have told many beginners that if you treat your computer like a good friend it will answer all your questions. If you think it is wrong, re-enter your question with the word “truth” and you may get another side of an issue.
If your new year’s resolution is to learn a new skill or to improve your health, the computer has a wealth of information.
