Dog show scheduled

The United Kennel Club Conformation Dog Show, sponsored by the Heartland Toy Fox Terrier Association, is July 18 and July 19 at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds 4-H building in Tonganoxie, 405 W. Fourth St.

Five breeds will compete in the show: the Toy Fox Terrier, the American Hairless Terrier, the Rat Terrier, the Papillon and the Alaskan Klee Kai.

Entries will be accepted from 8:30-10 a.m., Saturday, July 18, and the show starts at 11 a.m. Entries will be accepted from 9-10 a.m. Sunday, July 19, and the show starts at 10:30 a.m. The pre-entry fee is $9.
