The Basehor Dairy Days festival is in full swing at the city park.

The festival started at 7 a.m. Saturday with a Chris Cakes pancake breakfast and quickly moved into music, games and several shopping opportunities.

Rain threatened the festivities earlier in the day, but sunshine prevailed, and cars steadily flooded the parking lot.

Dairy Days will run until around 4 p.m., ending with a performance by the Motion Band.

For more on the festival, check out the June 11 issue of the Sentinel.
