City administrator resigns
Carl Slaugh has resigned as Basehor city administrator.
Slaugh's position expired today, and Basehor City Council members did not continue his contract with the city at their Monday night meeting. Slaugh indicated that he would resign, effective today, May 19.
Basehor Mayor Terry Hill said he wanted to thank Slaugh for his dedication, hard work and professionalism while serving the city. Hill said the city would soon begin advertising the position.
Slaugh had been the city administrator since March 2006.
