Occupation: Customer service/ receipts clerk for the city of Bonner Springs

Place of birth: Alton, Ill.

Q: When did you move to Bonner Springs, and what brought you here?

A: I moved here in 1993. I had been working at Commercial State Bank since 1988 and at the time living in Edwardsville. We were looking to buy a house close to my work. We actually live in Leavenworth County with a Bonner Springs address.

Q: What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?

A: Opening my heart to someone. What a great risk. I love you Rick.

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

A: Take a deep breath, and don’t take anything too seriously.

Q: What three things would you want people to know about you?

A: I love the outdoors, I’m a pretty good cook and, most of all, I love to play and talk with my grandson for hours. I love this quote: “Grandchildren complete the circle of love.”

Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?

A: A dancer.

Q: What’s your ideal vacation spot?

A: Visiting anywhere different; not going to the same place all the time.
