Historic steam locomotive to pass through area

Union Pacific Railroad’s historic steam locomotive, No. 844, will move through Bonner Springs and Edwardsville this weekend on a 3,500-mile tour from Wyoming to Texas.
The “Valley Eagle Heritage Tour” will pass through the cities between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sunday, April 4, en route to a daylong stopover Monday, April 5, at Union Station in Kansas City, Mo.
