Charity gathering supplies for Children’s Mercy

The Kansas City Children’s Assistance Network will have its second annual “Faith & Mercy” Drive to benefit Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics starting this week.
On Saturday, the organization will place bins at various locations across the Kansas City area to collect new toys, art supplies, games and movies to benefit the children at Children’s Mercy. Visit KCCAN.org for information and guidelines on needed items.
On May 1, from noon to 2 p.m., the bins will be collected and gathered at a final event at the Chartroose Caboose in Lenexa, 12976 W. 87th St. Parkway.
