Leavenworth County Fair bloggers wanted
The Leavenworth County Fair is in full swing and The Mirror will be there to cover various events — but Mirror staffers are asking for some assistance.
We’re looking for fairgoers who want to describe their fair experiences and also tell their stories through photos.
The Mirror is encouraging folks to blog on its website, tonganoxiemirror.com, and also submit photos from this year’s fair. Photos may be sent to news editor Shawn Linenberger at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include photo identifications and an explanation of the picture when submitting via e-mail.
For bloggers, look for the story titled “At the Fair” and blog by adding comments in the comments section, which can be found at the end of the story.
People entering blogging and photo entries will have a chance to win a one-year subscription to The Mirror.
Online, people also will have a chance to win a Mirror subscription. Go to The Mirror’s Facebook page, facebook.com/TonganoxieMirror, and select the “like” button on our Facebook page. And, if you’re not already following The Mirror on Twitter, go to twitter.com/tonganoxie and start following us there for a chance to win a subscription.
Look online for you and your friends’ submitted photos, which also could appear in the print edition of The Mirror.
