Kansas State students receive academic honors
Several Basehor-Linwood High School graduates earned semester honors from Kansas State University for their academic performance in the fall 2009 semester, and one student received December 2009 graduation honors to recognize outstanding academic performance during her undergraduate career.
K-State semester honors are awarded to students who earned a 3.75 grade point average or higher for the semester. Students had to be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours course work.
December 2009 graduation honors include students who graduated summa cum laude from K-State for an academic average of 3.95 or higher; and students who graduated magna cum laude for an academic average of 3.85 to 3.949.
Klinton Wayne Brown, Megan Nicole Henley, Anna Michelle Mark, Jacob Matthew Mark, Zachary Keith Mark, Michael Adam Rich, Mary Katherine Swabb, Taenecia Marie Gaines-Bey and Anne Elizabeth Shores received fall semester honors.
Kara Cherie Bowman, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science.
