New downtown Bonner business prepares for opening
A new business coming to downtown Bonner Springs, Sweet Repeats Consignment Boutique, will play host to an inventory drive to prepare for opening.
Melissa Adcox, Sweet Repeats owner and Basehor resident, said the business would offer second-hand clothing for busy moms on a budget. While the opening of the store, which will be in the former Miller’s Too location at 201 Oak St., isn’t until April 3, an inventory drive is planned to stock up on merchandise.
The inventory drive will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at the boutique’s downtown location. Adcox said the business is currently looking for spring and summer women’s fashion for all ages and sizes. She said designer children’s clothes as well as accessories and handbags would also be accepted.
Those bringing items will receive 10 percent off purchases at the shop as well as 40 percent of the sale price of their items.
Adcox said those wishing to bring in items could also call or e-mail her to set up a specific time to stop by the store on the day of the drive.
