Bever leads BLHS girls past Bonner

Following a sloppy first quarter which saw Basehor-Linwood make two field goals, the Bobcats turned to senior Cassy Beaver. She scored 6 second-quarter points and allowed her team to head into halftime with a 21-8 lead.
But she was not close to done scoring.
Beaver poured in shots from everywhere on the floor in the second half, including four second half 3-point makes. She led all scorers with 26 propelling her team to a 20-point victory over rival Bonner Springs, 48-28.
The Bobcats improved to 4-4 on the season.
