An excavator in transport on Interstate 70 struck the Kansas Highway 7 exit ramp bridge today, causing the state to close the bridge as it is inspected for damage.

A Tonganoxie High School student was injured in a two-vehicle accident about 3:45 p.m. Wednesday on Kansas Highway 32 about 6 miles west of Linwood.
