BLHS senior’s video advances in Adidas contest
A video submitted by a senior at Basehor-Linwood High School is one of 16 clips from across the country to make the first cut in an online contest sponsored by Adidas Moves Pulse fragrance.
BLHS senior Courtney Inlow's video of BLHS students participating in strength and conditioning workouts, "BOBCAT POWER," is competing this week against a video from Wilmington High School in Wilmington, Ohio.
From this point on, the contest takes the form of a week-by-week single-elimination bracket, with each matchup decided by online voting. The school featured in the winning video will receive a $15,000. The contest runs until Dec. 12.
As of about 4 p.m. Tuesday, Inlow's video was one of only three to draw at least 200 votes in the current round of the contest, but it still trailed its opponent, 252 votes to 210. Voting on this round lasts until 10:59 p.m. Sunday.
To vote in the contest, people can visit pulsefragrance.com and click "VOTE" at the top of the screen. Registration for a username on the site is required to vote.
