A dedication and ribbon-cutting for the new Basehor-Linwood Middle School building will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday at the school, 15900 Conley Rd., Bonner Springs.

The event will feature remarks from officials as well as a musical performance by BLMS students. Tours and refreshments also will be offered.

Speakers will include Kansas State Board of Education member Janet Waugh, Basehor-Linwood superintendent David Howard, assistant superintendent Mike Boyd and BLMS principal Mike Wiley.
