Occupation: Budget and finance director for the city of Bonner Springs

Family: Husband, Greg; son, Daniel; daughter, Sarah
Q: When did you move to Bonner Springs and what brought you here?
A: I lived in Bonner Springs until I left for college, and then moved back in 2000 because Bonner Springs is a great city.
Q: What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
A: Getting married, and it was the best risk I’ve ever taken.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
A: Keep a strong faith in God.
Q: What three things would you want people to know about you?
A: I am the oldest of eight children. I love spending time with my family. I enjoy playing volleyball and softball.
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: I didn’t ever think about what I wanted to be until I went to college and I wanted to be an accountant.
Q: What’s your ideal vacation spot?
A: Florida

Song: I don’t have a favorite, but I like everything from Jim Brickman to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Food: My husband’s chicken and wine sauce.
