Remembering Ed Hamler

Ed was a charter member of the Lansing Lions Club, which started in 1954, and was president from 1958 to 1959. He was fire chief of the Delaware Fire Department from 1960 to 1964, and in 1959 when the city was incorporated, he was elected to be a member of Lansing’s first city council. He was also a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
