Retiree to mark 80 years

The daughters of Frances Brown, Leavenworth, would like to invite families and friends to her 80th birthday open house celebration from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Tonganoxie VFW Post Home, 910 E. First St., Tonganoxie.
Brown is formally from Kansas City, Kan., and is retired from Providence Medical Center. She requests no gifts.
