Seventh annual golf event to benefit Basehor-Linwood students, teachers

The Basehor-Linwood Education Foundation will hold its seventh annual Scholarship Golf Classic starting at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Falcon Lakes Golf Course, 4605 Clubhouse Dr.
The tournament raises money for student scholarships and teaching grants.
Individual players can enter for $100 each, and four-player teams can enter for $400. People can sponsor a hole for $400, or a team can sponsor a hole and enter the tournament for a combined $700. The foundation is also accepting donations of items for a raffle.
The event begins with a lunch at 11:30 a.m. Friday, and the golf starts at 1 p.m.
