Q: When did you move to Bonner Springs and what brought you here?
A: I came to Bonner Springs in the fall of 2008. I wanted to work in a school district that was very supportive of music education and had great students and families.
Q: What’s the biggest risk you’ve ever taken?
A: When I first moved to Kansas City, I didn’t have a job lined up. I just hoped something good would happen.
Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
A: My college saxophone instructor always told me that it’s not possible to be overprepared for anything in life.
Q: What three things would you want people to know about you?
A: I always try my best to be positive. I don’t know how many times I’ve told someone not to worry. Things tend to work out in life.
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
A: A musician
Q: What’s your ideal vacation spot?
A: Visiting family in Iowa.
