Bobcats swept by Hayden

Topeka Hayden visited Basehor-Linwood Wednesday night, and the Wildcats' girls and boys basketball teams both handed the Bobcats losses.

First, the Hayden girls battled past BLHS, 25-22. Bailey Hooker led the Bobcats with nine points as they dropped to 1-3 for the season.

Then, in the boys game, Hayden upset top-ranked Basehor-Linwood, 63-59. The Wildcats outscored BLHS 17-2 in the second quarter and then fended off a late rally.
