Sporting KC golf league comes to Painted Hills

Sporting Kansas City will play host to a golf league beginning Aug. 2 at Painted Hills Golf Course in Kansas City, Kan.

The league is open to all interested golfers. It’s a two-person, 9-hole league that will last for eight weeks. Play will begin at 6 p.m. each Tuesday.

Entry fee is a one-time payment of $25 that includes two tickets to Sporting Kansas City’s Major League Soccer game against the Philadelphia Union at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. In addition, the weekly fee of $25 includes cart rental and a drink ticket. All teams are required to have an alternate player.

Different formats will be played each week. The league is limited to the first 36 teams.
