We wish to thank everyone who attended the 2011 Memorial Day Service on Monday, May 30, at the Bonner Springs Cemetery.

Special thanks to: Members of Girl Scout Troops 555 and 1543, Alfred Ramirez, Mayor Clausie Smith, Larry and Brian Berg, council members George Cooper and Bob Reeves, Malisa and Joy Wallace, the VPW Post 6401, and Jeff Harrington. The service was beautiful.

We wish to thank the Bonner Springs Public Works staff for its hard work to maintain the cemetery, put up the Avenue of Flags and for removal of the old maintenance shed. Thanks for all individuals and groups that donated for replacement flags to maintain the Avenue of Flags. A special thanks to Dick Reinwald, Reinwald Construction, for completion of the construction of a new maintenance shed.

Thanks to all of you for your time and help to improve the Bonner Springs Cemetery.
