The second annual Mass Street Mile will take place at 9 a.m. Sunday, July 3, in downtown Lawrence.

The race will be divided into three heats, men’s open, women’s open, and 18 and under, beginning at 9:00 a.m. There also will be a free kids run for children of all ages. The race will follow a certified one-mile course beginning on Massachusetts Street between Eighth and Ninth Streets.

All participants, except for those in the kids’ run, will receive an official Mass Street Mile T-shirt.

Race participants can stay after to see the Tour of Lawrence cycling event.

Packet pick-up will be from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 2, at Garry Gribble’s Running Sports, 839 Massachusetts Street, Lawrence.
