Basehor Community Library has organized two “Meet the Candidate” nights for the week before the April 5 local elections.

The first event, from 6:30-8 p.m. on March 29, will feature Basehor City Council candidates. The second night, from 6:30-8 p.m. March 30, will focus on Basehor-Linwood school board candidates. Both events will take place at the library, 1400 158th St.

The events will be informal, with area residents free to come and go at any time, said Laura Carroll, adult services librarian at the library.
