Guide names Park a top military-friendly university
Park University has been selected as one of America’s Top Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities for the third consecutive year by Military Advanced Education.
Park was featured in the fourth annual Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges and Universities, which includes pertinent information about the wide range of benefits select colleges and universities have to offer servicemembers.
The magazine praised the university, saying, “Park University recognizes the enormous contribution military personnel make to society and has a long history, since 1889 when Park served as a training center for the Missouri Militia, of serving those who have dedicated their lives to serving our country. Park’s founding mission to provide access to academic excellence is carried out at 35 military campus centers and online. Park provides academic quality and flexibility of scheduling at a reasonable tuition rate.”
Stephen W. Terry, program manager of the Park Warrior Center, said the recognition was an honor for the University.
“This outstanding recognition is really due to the staff and support structures that are in place at Park that do such a great job helping our military members and veterans every day,” Terry said. “To be listed as a top military-friendly school shows others that we have an excellent program that should serve as a model for success, and that we really do care about our military and veteran students.”
