BLHS golfers 6th at Bonner Springs Invitational

A shorthanded Basehor-Linwood boys golf team placed sixth at the Bonner Springs Invitational Thursday at Sunflower Hills Golf Course.
Brady Blackwood led the way for BLHS with a nine-hole score of 55 and Hayden Morris fired a 57. Gage Zumbrunn and Jake McCraney each shot 68.
Ottawa won the team title with a 175, Bonner Springs was second with a 178 and Mill Valley took third with a 188. BLHS shot a 248.
Ottawa's Clinton Moore was the individual champion with a 39, Bonner Springs' Marc McClain took second with a 41 and Ottawa's Zach George took third with a 43. Rounding out the medalists were Mill Valley's Jon Darby with a 43, Bonner Springs' Jonothan Price with a 43 and Bonner Springs' Logan Opat with a 46.
