Donohoe announces bid for reelection
Kansas Rep. Owen Donohoe (R-Shawnee) announced he has filed for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives, 39th District.
Donohoe represents residents of Basehor, Bonner Springs and Shawnee. He was elected in 2006 and is serving his third term in the House.
“The people of Basehor, Bonner Springs and Shawnee elected me to represent their desire for fiscal responsibility and state government reform, and I am dedicated to this effort,” Donohoe said in his Nov. 21 announcement. “We have made progress in areas of fiscal transparency and accountability, but much work remains to ensure free-market health care reform, achievement and accountability in education, and tax reform. I will continue to advocate for prudent spending and reforms.”
