The Basehor City Council voted, 5-0, at a special meeting Wednesday afternoon to void a severance check for former city administrator Mark Loughry for more than $50,000 that Mayor Terry Hill approved without a council vote.

Mill Creek volleyball sweeps BLMS seventh-graders

Basehor-Linwood Middle School’s seventh-grade volleyball teams were swept by Mill Creek on Wednesday, Sept. 28.The varsity squad lost a hard-fought match, 25-20, 25-20, 15-11. The JV fell 25-20, 25-18 in the first two games before winning the final game 15-9.
