KCK ReStore to accept old, unwanted electronics
The Heartland Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Kansas City, Kan., will have a community electronics recycling event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 5 at the store, 520 S. 55th St.
Items accepted include: computers, printers, monitors, scanners, peripherals, televisions, cell phones, DVD players, VCRsw, fax machines, personal copiers, stereos, radios, tape players, turn tables, PDAs, Game Boys and cameras.
Items may be recycled at no charge, but residents are limited to up to eight items per car. No early dropoffs will be accepted, and if participation is greater than expected, the event’s hours of operation may be reduced. For more information, call 913-342-3047.
