He weighed 6 pounds, 4 ounces and was 19 inches long. Maternal grandparents are Hubert and Sarah Kettler, Lawrence; paternal grandparents are Dan and Georgia Reynolds, Abilene. Maternal great-grandparents are John and Betty Clayton, Fort Scott, and Lourena Kettler, Paola; paternal great-grandmother is Audeen Reynolds, Abilene.
- Jeff and Mindee (Peuker) Sloan of Atchison announce the birth of a son, Jackson Thomas Sloan. Jackson was born March 13, 2011, at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo. He weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces, and was 18 inches long. He was welcomed home by his brother, Austin, 2. Paternal grandparents are Steven and Venice Sloan of Powhattan. Maternal grandparents are Steven and Yvonne Peuker of Atchison. Paternal great-grandparents are Helen Lohman and the late Charles (Sam) Lohman of Tonganoxie and Mary Ellen Sloan and the late Walter Sloan of Leavenworth. Maternal great-grandparents are Dwight Peuker and the late Ruth Peuker of Atchison and the late Don and Marjorie Ptomey of Highland.
