Monticello Trails gives 7th-grade volleyball losses

The Basehor-Linwood seventh-grade volleyball teams suffered their first losses of the season Sept. 21 to Monticello Trails.
The Bulldog varsity team suffered a 25-10, 25-21, 15-7 loss that snapped a three-match winning streak to open the season.
In addition, the junior varsity team was defeated 25-18, 25-14, 15-13.
The losses came on the heels of a sweep of Tonganoxie on Sept. 15. The varsity team defeated the Chieftains 25-16, 25-11, 15-7, and the JV earned a 25-15, 25-12, 15-7 victory.
