Basehor-Linwood softball team to recognize seniors, alumni
The Basehor-Linwood High School softball team will continue a tradition with its annual Senior Recognition/Alumni Reunion Night at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24. The Bobcats host Lansing in a Kaw Valley League doubleheader.
The ceremony, which recognizes this year’s senior class, along with other seniors who played softball for the Bobcats and are in attendance, will begin immediately following the conclusion of the first game at approximately 5:45 p.m.
“This is always such a special night to honor the current senior class,” coach Susan Mayberry said in a news release. “It’s also a great time for our former players to come back.
Each year we have a good turnout of former players, who have helped build the strong tradition that our program enjoys.”
The Bobcats play their home games at the Field of Dreams complex just west of K-7 highway on Fairmont Road (County Road 8).
