Rosters for the Country Mart Kansas vs. Missouri All Star Game were recently unveiled, with several Basehor-Linwood and Bonner Springs athletes representing their schools.

For the Bobcats, Colin Murphy will appear at wide receiver while Ryan Murphy will play as a tight end in the June 14 game at Blue Valley High School.

Bonner Springs’ J.J. Jackson will appear on defense as a safety.

The annual game showcases the state’s top graduating seniors. Ryan and Colin Murphy recently committed to play basketball at Emporia State University.

Earlier this year, Jackson signed a letter of intent to play football at Coffeyville Community College. In 2011, Jackson led the Braves in rushing with 1,549 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 203 yards and two scores, one of which went for 77 yards.

Colin Murphy was the starting quarterback for last year’s 10-1 Bobcats squad, and also picked up 13 rushing touchdowns, a team high. Ryan Murphy caught 49 passes for 1,116 yards and eight touchdowns in 2011.
