Bonner Springs volleyball earns first two victories of season

Bonner Springs volleyball won its first two matches of the season on Thursday. Hosting its second straight quad meet, the Braves defeated Bishop Ward (25-27, 25-21, 25-19) and Christ Prep (25-14, 25-8) before losing to Louisburg (9-25, 23-25).

The Braves (2-4) return to play at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at home against Basehor-Linwood, a team that handed the Braves their first loss of the season last week.
