The Basehor City Council has a work session at 7 p.m. on the first Monday of each month at Basehor City Hall.

Agenda items for Feb. 6 work session:

  • Content management system implementation
  • South Side Village Apartments request for support
  • Country Place Living sewer connection fee variance request

I just read the council packet.

Is everyone aware that the South Side Village Apartment request for support is to be located at 155th and Pinehurst? Additionally, this request for support is to build a low income and homeless housing complex.

If you have questions about this I would suggest you attend the council meeting tonight or address any concerns to your elected representatives.

Homeless housing? This is not the salvation army, I highly doubt it's for the homeless.

it states right in the packet that some one the units will be for the homeless.
